- It’s ‘Twilight’ time at library
All tweens and teens are invited to the Yucca Valley library to celebrate Stephanie Meyer’s runaway bestseller “Twilight” and its sequels in a party from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
“Twilight” and sequels “New Moon,” “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn” are romantic novels of an unlikely duo, Bella and Edward. Not your ordinary high school couple, Bella is the new girl in the town and Edward is the son of the local doctor. Only Edward is not ordinary. He is a vampire, as is his entire family.
This is the hottest series since Harry Potter and is also being read by adults.
At the library Thursday, fans will play Twilight Jeopardy, eat and drink appropriate refreshments and draw for door prizes including two “Bite Me Edward” T-shirts. Formal dress is optional. For more information, call Debbie Medina at 228-5455.
